This location wasn't an obvious one for a shoot. The brief from my lovely clients was 'somewhere that looked like Singapore'. Well, it's the beautiful architecture that gives Singapore, it's unique identity. So, off we headed to Club Street on an early Saturday morning, it was a beautiful sunny morning, which just made all the shop houses burst with colour. Considering that the streets would have been bustling with people until the early hours the night before, it was remarkably peaceful and empty.
Little Helen took the streets, exploring the walkways and doorways without much direction, which made it so easy to point and shoot. Just to add a little excitement, at the end of the shoot, we snuck up to a hotel bar where it had the most spectacular red roof view over China Town. Well done Geoff for that little find!
