A Family Affair

I was welcomed into this household on Sunday afternoon to a classic Sunday scene of family, sitting around a dining table, eating cake and drinking tea. It was such a warm welcome. I was instantly handed a slice of carrot cake and immediately felt part of the family. I had to suddenly remember why I was there!

Family were visiting and it was a rare occasion to have this many relatives and generations all in one room. The family are usually spread over three different continents, so to capture some family time and not to mention the newest 11 day old addition, it was an extremely special afternoon.
