Meet Rob, Alice & Family from The Farm at Avebury

I know I have been harping on about my trip back home, but the magic that happens in the UK with the idillic backdrop of rolling hills, sun sets, and frolicking in fields is not to be taken for granted. This is Rob & Alice who live at the farm, with their beautiful three girls, who taught us a thing or two about farming.

Prior to my shoot sessions, Alice kindly drove me out and bout the farm scouting some locations, with 13 of us packed into a Range Rover spotting hares and pheasants at scampering around at dusk. Avebury is not an area I am familiar with, but is a World Heritage listed Neolithic site, with it's unusual rock formations. With an abundance of areas to choose from, a field of beans scattered with poppies

was my field of choice as well as barley which was nearly fit for harvest.

Here is a little sneaky peak from their shoot session:

A little bit about the Farm at Avebury, Wiltshire

The Farm at Avebury is located in the heart of the English countryside, near the historic Avebury stone circle. It is a converted 18th-century farmhouse that provides comfortable accommodations and a tranquil setting for guests. The beautifully transformed stables, offers six luxury self-catering homes, around a cosy courtyard.

The stables have been beautifully decorated (a little bit of interior porn for those that love beautiful things), to make it feel like home away from home, offering their own cooking and dining facilities, so no need to be out for every meal or babysitters for that matter!

The hosts who run the family owned farm, Alice and Rob who live there with their three girls, help curate a comfortable and relaxing stay, going beyond the call of duty, which adds to its personable charm.

Another main reason why I have chosen to stay at The Farm at Avebury is its location. It is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Guests can take advantage of the numerous walking and cycling trails in the area, as well as visit nearby attractions such as the Avebury stone circle and the historic market town of Marlborough. I can't wait to wonder the surrounding countryside in search for some great family photography spots.
